A few things you should think about before you call us for computer repair or servicing.
1. Make a list Make a list of the problems you are having with your computer and the fixes you would like to see (i.e., pop up advertising to go away for good). This way you will be able to communicate your needs to us effectively and succinctly. If you don't know what you need or want, not to worry. We'll get it running well again for you.
2. Back-up your hard drive. You may have important data on your computer such as financial information, resume's, family photos, videos, music, etc. When dealing with computers, especially software related issues such as viruses, loss of data is common. By backing up your data onto an external storage device like a USB flash drive or external hard drive, you will keep your data safe in the event of a software mishap during service and repair. Need help backing up your data? Call us at 314-774-4440 for assistance. Or, we can back up your data for you for a fee.
3. Locate your computer's restore disk. A restore disk is just that, a disk(s) that will restore your computer back to like it was when it left the factory. Its not uncommon to completely restore a computer back to its original state once it has been seriously infected by viruses. If you do not have a restore disk(s), don't worry. We can still get the job done.
4. Have your laptop's AC adapter. Be sure to have your AC adapter and battery with you. We have universal AC adapters, but it is always better for your computer to use gaming chairs the adapter that originally came with it. If you can't find your AC adapter please call us so that our computer technician will know what adapter to bring.
